The Global Padel Association is a non-profit international association constituted under Spanish law. Its purpose is the promotion of padel worldwide, ensuring its sustainable and equitable growth through an inclusive, democratic, transparent and sustainable model.

GPA is open to every actor in the sport — federations, leagues, clubs, organisers, players, technical and refereeing staff — with a voting split in which no single bloc reaches half.

APPT is the first tour to join the model, and it does so keeping its own name.

OWPR
The Open World Padel Ranking is owned by GPA and published at owpr.org. It computes every tour under the same published rule, with the full algorithm and the source of every tournament made public.
El Open World Padel Ranking es titularidad de GPA y se publica en owpr.org. Computa todos los circuitos con la misma regla publicada, con el algoritmo completo y la fuente de cada torneo a la vista.
A tour joining GPS does not need to hand over its data. The ranking reads what the organiser already publishes.
